Immune Boosting Green Smoothie
What You’ll Need:
Ingredients
1 whole apple (green or red)
1 whole ripe banana
1 ripe pear
2 cups of organic spinach
2 cups of pineapple
Juice from 1 whole lemon
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or your can add coconut water for extra hydration!)
Equipment
Blender (I use a Vitamix)
Directions:
Chop all of your fruit up. None of it needs to be cut too small, as long as your blender is strong enough to work through thicker fruit like apple. I keep the skin on all fruits for added nutrition.
Add all fruit and spinach to your blender.
Cut your lemon in half and pull out any seeds. Then squeeze the entire lemon on top.
Add your liquid to the blender and begin to blend. If your smoothie is too chunky, or it doesn’t seem to be blending good enough, then add as much liquid as you need! There is never a right or wrong when it comes to smoothie making - it totally depends on how thick or smooth you prefer it to be.
